New Works​
This space is being regularly updated with the latest works I am currently working on 10 works. I'm also working on a major piece, that has been over a year in process.
Smell

The Portuguese coastline and countryside give an artist plenty of opportunities to create from breathtaking cliffs that just fall into the sea, to rolling hills and villages, that can captivate the mind. We live in Portimão, but my works will be from all along the Algarve. Fingers crossed I can do these views justice and capture some of this scenery and inspire people to visit us.
Broadwalk at sunset

Brand new work, great little piece. This is the Alvor boardwalk looking out towards Lagos as sunset, it's a beautiful little piece.

Fishermen's Rest

Just love this work, it's called Fishermen's Rest. An old fisherman sitting on the harbour building in Alvor, eating an apple.
Galileo

I painted this one for the RA summer exhibition, it never got in, the painting that went with it did. His name is Galileo, and I just love this painting, in a frame, it looks fantastic.

Looking to the west, we get the greatest sunsets here in Alvor. People gather every day to watch the setting of the sun, and we also get the most amazing orange skies here. The daylight is fantastic. These orange skies are unbelievable, I just love painting them. This is not a new work, but it's one of our paintings, so not many people have seen it.

Not really new works, I painted three horses for Ana, I'm keeping the black one for now. Majestic power and strength, these gorgeous animals are a favourite, and more to come, I'm sure. The white one has been special for me, don't know why!

Another amazing sunset is on its way. Looking to the west over the dunes. This building has now fallen over, it’s still a beautiful image, that should always remind you of Alvor.
Silves Cubes

This was a Sunday afternoon project, I woke this day feeling all Pablo Picasso. So I sat down for an hour and a half and did this. It's the castle at Silves, done in a very cubist way. I really enjoyed this little project, but it's really not my style at all.

One of my favorite bands, led by Chris Martin, the legendary Coldplay. This photo was taken at one of the Wembley gigs. Ana was there, I painted this one for her. It's not really a new work, but not many people have seen this one.
Beach Sunset

The beach at Três irmãos has some great rock formations and cliffs. At sunset the dropping sun creates some beautiful visions, and the shadow and reflection build some mystery and drama. So looking out to the west as the sun sinks behind the landmass and horizon.​
The Tempest

This and the Tempest 2 below, were two small freehand painting projects, attempting to keep and loose technique to create movement in the sky and sea, I found these two small paintings captivating, they are two beautiful works, packed with drama.

The second of the pair, I brought more colour into the image, through the sky and also on the main wave. Painted with the same loose technique and again offer a sense of drama and activity. Another small image that can captivate and hold your gaze.
